Warranty on our Wind Turbines

The following warranty applies to all components of the Turbotricity™ wind energy system.

We guarantee all components against defects in design and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of supply and installation.

The grid tie inverter is supplied by Power-One Ltd., and is also guaranteed for a period of five years. This warranty is a “return to base” warranty, but in the event of a failure, on a turbine which has been installed by Turbotricity, we will replace this unit with an exchange unit until the original unit has been replaced.

Exceptions

This warranty is void in the event that the wind turbine, controller or any other components have been tampered with in any way, or if the isolator switches have been used to apply the turbine brake while the turbine is operating. Should the warranty be voided, Turbotricity reserves the right to charge for call-out time and maintenance work carried out, in addition the cost of replacement components.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by lightening, bird-strike, earthquakes or acts of God.

It is often overlooked that many products have better coverage under consumer legislation than under their own warranty! No warranty affects your statutory rights.
